Flashback Friday: Phoenix

I’m slowly chipping away
At the pieces of me, you left behind
Rising from the ashes
Like a phoenix ready to shine.

This was written for the prompt: Something you would say to an Ex. So, this applies to all your ex-friends, family and boyfriends/girlfriends. I’m sure there are all kinds of exes you leave behind, or who left you behind. This can be a motivational post because it would give you the push and inspiration to look ahead and be so much more than the person you were in the past. First posted on the blog in September 2018.

Breaking the Glass Ceiling

Honey, you have never

believed in boundaries.

So shatter that glass ceiling

and find your pinnacle of success!

This is an empowered and empowering post! A very important theme for woemn empowerment and furthering the cause of equal rights for everybody in general as well. Hoping this finds you in good health 🙂

Flashback Friday 24.5.19

Honey,

I wear these scars with pride.

They’re a reminder of every battle I’ve won!

Each scar could be a representation of the obstacles you have crossed to achieve something. It is hard work and challenging to do new, out of the box things. So the protagonist is proud of their scars. It was first published on the blog in May 2018.

She has wings!

Honey,
She has wings.
Even if they
try to cut them off,
she will fly!
The winds blow
for her!

I am all for women empowerment and this post is straight up inspiration. And not just women, it could be inspiring for everyone. I have been reading up a lot on gender-neutrality and support it entirely. This post was written to motivate me on a low day, which is why it has a feminine tone, but if it inspires you too, my job here is done 😀

Wise Words Wednesday 10.11

I believe in strong women. I believe in the woman who is able to stand up for herself. I believe in the woman who doesn’t need to hide behind her husband’s back. I believe that if you have problems, as a woman you deal with them, you don’t play victim, you don’t make yourself look pitiful, you don’t point fingers. You stand and you deal. You face the world with a head held high and you carry the universe in your heart.

Today is International Day of Women, and what beter way to celebrate than to give an ode to all the successful, accomplished and hard working women of today. It takes a village to complete a task that a woman will do without any fuss. I have seen that with my own eyes and I respect every woman who has lit the path for women and their empowerment all over the world. The final goal being complete gender equality.
