Flashback Friday:

If you don’t resonate with the stars,
maybe you’re meant to be the sun!

And shine the brightest! This is a different, happy and inspirational post for me. It struck me how even if you don’t belong, you might be made for bigger things in life. Have a great day 🙂 Reposting since a lot more people could read it now.

Magic of Stars!

Bathed in the infinite magic of the stars!

This is a happy, inspiring and uplifting post that I wrote for myself and for anybody else who might be feeling blue today! Finding positivity in the stars, twinkling in the darkness and spreading positive vibes is something that we all can strive to do. Have a good day!

I posted this very post on Instagram today too. For the latest pieces, and life updates, you can check out my IG profile. 🙂

My Eclipse (Flashback Friday)

Although austere,
yet absolute, complete
a solitary existence was mine.

Spellbinding, you came along
unbeknown shade to my shine
the welcome eclipse to a shrine.

An ardent irrevocable ring
no love bargained
boundless as the stars in the night.

Short, tender marriage
christened “Curt!” “Contrived!”
this jubilant union of darkness & light.

This post appeared for the first time on this blog in November 2016. I am reposting because I have a few more followers now and love the post a lot!

Wise Words Wednesday 4.19.17

“When you reach for the stars, you are reaching for the farthest thing out there. When you reach deep into yourself, it is the same thing, but in the opposite direction. If you reach in both directions, you will have spanned the universe.”

― Vera Nazarian, The Perpetual Calendar of Inspiration

Wise Words Wednesday 1.3.17

“A star falls from the sky and into your hands. Then it seeps through your veins and swims inside your blood and becomes every part of you. And then you have to put it back into the sky. And it’s the most painful thing you’ll ever have to do and that you’ve ever done. But what’s yours is yours. Whether it’s up in the sky or here in your hands. And one day, it’ll fall from the sky and hit you in the head real hard and that time, you won’t have to put it back in the sky again.”

Knowing and having. Not having and grieving are are all part of life. Sometimes we lose the one thing we hold most dear. But it doesn’t mean that we can never have it back. We learn that we should cherish the present, live in the moment and appreciate all that we’ve been blessed with. Have a great day! 🙂
