Phoenix Girl (Something You’d Say to an Ex)

I’m slowly chipping away
At the pieces of me you left behind
Rising from the ashes
Like a phoenix ready to shine.

This was written for the prompt : Something you would say to an Ex. So, this applies to all your ex-friends, family and boyfriends/girlfriends. I’m sure there are all kinds of exes you leave behind, or who left you behind. This can be a motivational post because it would give you the push and inspiration to look ahead and be so much more than the person you were in the past.

Education comes from within. You get it by struggle, and effort and thought.

Napoleon Hill

I was thinking about how we struggle in life for a lot of things, and that is what makes success so sweet. And then, I found this quote which is quite apt too because education is also something that makes a world of difference in the quality of life you live. Good day, everyone!

“Did you hear about the rose that grew from a crack in the concrete? Proving nature’s laws wrong, it learned to walk without having feet. Funny, it seems to by keeping it’s dreams; it learned to breathe fresh air. Long live the rose that grew from concrete when no one else even cared.”
― Tupac Shakur, The Rose That Grew from Concrete

Persistence and perseverance. Something about how my workplace has been in the last few days inspired me to find something on persistence. No matter how much you try, you’ll still to work harder and try to achieve the goals you’ve set for yourself. Because if not that, then what is your life progressing to? A tangent, but my current situation. Hope you guys have a great day 🙂
