Ocean of …

I thought I was less for you. Look now at this ocean of poetry.

This represents how one could feel inferior in a relationship, or not sufficient. But in this case, it’s visible that the love was true, and immense when a lot of poetry is born in the process. It proves that there is no comparison because so much art, love, poetry and prose have been created by their being in love. It’s a good sign.

Lonely Today

I thought I liked being alone.

But suddenly without you it was lonely today!

This one comes from personal experience. Simple as it is, it shows a certain vulnerability when you are dependent on someone. It could be friendshio, relationship, food partners, etc. So cherishing each bond with all your heart becomes verybimportant.
This also completes the sunset series. Don’t forget to check out the feed on all its glory!

This image is something I posted on my Instagram account. Find more of my original prose and poetry on InstagramFacebook, & Pinterest.

Ghost Feet

This little poem is about that moment when you long for your better half. In the morning, even when the bright sun has risen, it seems all grey because of their absence. Being habitual of their embrace, and their warmth, your feet feel alone in a bed for two. A little flashback Friday for fond memories and a lot of little things that I used to write!

Grey dawns this sunlight,

when it doesn’t seem so right

shuffling fervently two bedsheets,

your warm embrace doesn’t meet anymore,

doesn’t envelope my two cold, trembling feet.
