Wise Words Wednesday: July 8, 2020

Darling, there is no one metaphor that can define you. You are a world unto yourself!

Some positivity for today. I rarely use my own stuff for Wise Words Wednesday but I guess this is inspiring. It always is for me. Hope you have a great day and a great week ahead. Art by @callmealyne on Instagram.

I am posting my poetry and pieces on Instagram daily and some tidbits about my life too.

Alcohol

The first and the last time I drowned my sorrows was for your sins!

How we choose to drown our sorrows, or celebrate our happy moments is our own choice. Sometimes alcohol helps. To each his own! I’ve believed in that for years now and always will. This post is again a different one for me. Seemed appropriate though. Art by @effenemea have a great day everyone. Thank you for reading. Stay safe and stay home. -Saloni .

The greatest lovers are like twin blooms, each reflecting the passion and the glory of the other.

I was in a weird funk last week! This week has been almost back to normal. But some things happened that changed so many of my views, for better or for worse. I hate being cryptic here, but the quote should be helpful as a hint. Anyway, A quote about a new love for Wise Words Wednesday. Hope you have a lovely day! 🙂

“A house is made of bricks and beams. A home is made of hopes and dreams.”

“Home is where love resides, memories are created, friends always belong, and laughter never ends.”

Couldn’t agree more with this quote today. I guess I just am in that mood where I really miss home some days. Reading these quotes help me cope and understand that the other things I am doing are just as important. And that any place could feel like home if we just felt like it. Maybe my new room comes with the home vibes.

Hope you guys have a great day 🙂

Smile!

Just smile.

Everyday!

Sounds simple. And yet we forget to do that for ourselves. It is the little things that can turn your day around. And a smile, for yourself, could turn out to be one of the most positive things you do. And the ability to smile through troubles or life makes you a stronger, happier person. Have a great day, everyone!

Dandelions

I learned to live free
Like dandelions dancing in glee.
Letting go of troubles, negativity
A bright yellow, swaying sea
These flowers they rescued me!

The very last prompt that I got was Dandelions. I know this post is delayed,  but I have been under the weather for the last few days and didn’t quite find the energy to write a post. This a feel-good post, after facing the troubles of life.
So, it had to be a Tanka. A Japanese form of five lines with 5, 7, 5, 7, and 7 syllables—31 in all. Here it is. Leave some comments if you have something in your life that makes you extremely happy! Have a good day, wherever you are in the world.

Hello! Wise Words Wednesday 31.10.18

Each time a person passes by you and you say ‘hello’, imagine that person turning into a candle. The more positivity, love and light you reflect, the more light is mirrored your way. Sharing beautiful hellos is the quickest way to earn spiritual brownie points. You should start seeing hellos as small declarations of faith. Every time you say hello to a stranger, your heart acknowledges over and over again that we are all family.
