Take my pink blossoms
And give me your blues
With a rainbow of emotions
Under the bright shining sun

Dandelions

I learned to live free
Like dandelions dancing in glee.
Letting go of troubles, negativity
A bright yellow, swaying sea
These flowers they rescued me!

The very last prompt that I got was Dandelions. I know this post is delayed,  but I have been under the weather for the last few days and didn’t quite find the energy to write a post. This a feel-good post, after facing the troubles of life.
So, it had to be a Tanka. A Japanese form of five lines with 5, 7, 5, 7, and 7 syllables—31 in all. Here it is. Leave some comments if you have something in your life that makes you extremely happy! Have a good day, wherever you are in the world.

When the Good Lord was creating mothers, He was into His sixth day of “overtime” when the angel appeared and said. “You’re doing a lot of fiddling around on this one.”

And God said, “Have you read the specs on this order?” She has to be completely washable, but not plastic. Have 180 moveable parts…all replaceable. Run on black coffee and leftovers.
