“You should write because you love the shape of stories and sentences and the creation of different words on a page. Writing comes from reading, and reading is the finest teacher of how to write.”
-Annie Proulx

Today I choose life. Every morning when I wake up I can choose joy, happiness, negativity, pain… To feel the freedom that comes from being able to continue to make mistakes and choices – today I choose to feel life, not to deny my humanity but embrace it.

Kevyn Aucoin

With this happy, freedom quote I wish that everyone reading has a great day!

Wise Words Wednesday 9.8.17

“If you want to forget something or someone, never hate it, or never hate him/her. Everything and everyone that you hate is engraved upon your heart; if you want to let go of something, if you want to forget, you cannot hate.

You will find that it is necessary to let things go; simply for the reason that they are heavy. So let them go, let go of them. I tie no weights to my ankles.”

― C. JoyBell C.

Make a pact with yourself today to not be defined by your past. Sometimes the greatest thing to come out of all your hard work isn’t what you get for it, but what you become for it. Shake things up today! Be You…Be Free…Share.”

Steve Maraboli

Have a great day 🙂

Some of the most beautiful things worth having in your life come wrapped in a crown of thorns.

Wise Words Wednesday 19.7.2017

“A mother is the truest friend we have. When trials heavy and sudden fall upon us; when adversity takes the place of prosperity; when friends desert us; when trouble thickens around us, still will she cling to us, and endeavor by her kind precepts and counsels to dissipate the clouds of darkness, and cause peace to return to our hearts.”

—Washington Irving

The bond that a mother has with her child is incomparable to any other. That level of purity is akin to spirituality and the infinite love and wisdom that she shares with us over our lifetime are priceless too. It is just the theme for today’s quote because we should stop and think more often about our mothers. And, thank them for their endless commitment and sacrifices.

The two most important days in your life are the day you are born and the day you find out why.

-Mark Twain

Celebrating the birthday month for my blog in July! Which is why a birthday-themed inspirational quote. Mark Twain has the best quotes, concise and perfect. Finding out the reason why you exist is the biggest challenge ever since we’re born. And those who realise what their calling is, go on to become very successful. On this note, hope that everyone who is reading has a nice day. 🙂

The minute I heard my first love story,
I started looking for you, not knowing
how blind that was.
Lovers don’t finally meet somewhere.
They’re in each other all along.

-Rumi

Wise Words Wednesday 28.6.17

“Why do you go away? So that you can come back. So that you can see the place you came from with new eyes and extra colors. And the people there see you differently, too. Coming back to where you started is not the same as never leaving.”
Terry Pratchett, A Hat Full of Sky
